Learn the basics of Watercolour
Watercolour Experience Days are designed to get you painting quickly and easily, and for you to have fun doing it. Perfect whether you’re an Absolute Beginner or if you paint already.
You’ll officially be a Watercolour Mixologist by the end of the day!
What you’ll do:
First thing: coffee and introductions to meet the other members of our group, then we’ll get started on our inspiring day. With my guidance you’ll create a beautiful colour chart in the morning and experiment with different ways to use your watercolour.
After lunch you’ll create some beautiful and easy abstract watercolour paintings using your new knowledge about colour and wet in wet technique.
Ten things you’ll learn:
How to create beautiful, juicy colours from the hard blocks (pans) in your watercolour box
How to easily create many more colours by mixing the ones you already have
How to avoid mixing sludgy, muddy colours straight away
My recommendations for the essential art materials for easy watercolours
